Regarding distance learning status at ISU, 25% of its undergraduate students and 49% of graduate students are solely enrolled in online courses.

Here’s an admissions checklist for entering first-year students at ISU:

• Complete the online application.
• Submit official high school transcripts sent directly from the applicant’s high school.
• While ISU no longer requires undergraduate applicants to submit SAT or ACT scores, if an applicant wants to qualify for merit-based scholarships, they should consider submitting these scores.
• Submit a DD214 and Joint Services Transcript for military credit (if applicable). 
• Submit Dual Credit and AP Test Credit scores. 
• Provide a copy of the alien registration card (green card) (if applicable).
• Pay the nonrefundable application fee of $25.

ISU’s priority application dates are June 1 for the fall semester, December 1 for the spring semester, and May 1 for the summer semester.
